Our policy on privacy is based on 5 key principles:
The mobile application has the capability to capture GPS location information.
The mobile app user can define what times/days they are being tracked and the ability to switch this off.
To protect privacy the end user is in full control of the GPS tracking feature of the app and it is off by DEFAULT.
Any tracking information is sent to the EveryOneCloud application and held in a secure data centre within England and conforms to security and privacy standards.
Tracking data is used to locate staff and map their location to improve efficiency particularly where organisations may need to reassign jobs/tasks/locations to staff as required by customers.
Additionally, in some instances the safety of staff (particularly Lone Workers) is paramount and the ability to know the location of staff can be key to safe guarding.
In general data is kept for 7 days but may be kept for longer based on customer policy.
The application also enables staff to clock in/out of work using their mobile device.
In addition to clocking information location (GPS) co-ordinates are sent so that the clocking can be automatically assigned to specific tags (places of work, sites, etc).
The end user can switch off GPS on the device and is still able to clock in but the location will not be sent.
